Sean Torrington is a Brooklyn-born and raised filmmaker. He produced and directed numerous web-series, docu-series, short films, and media campaigns. Sean's dream was to create a digital multimedia platform, which came to be known as SLAY TV – a media company that elevates the narratives of the Black LGBTQ+ community by creating and curating compelling stories.

" If you don't see a space for you, create it "

SLAY TV offers a variety of original series, movies, documentaries, and other forms of entertainment specifically catered to the interests and experiences of Black LGBTQ+ individuals.

Sean aims to create a space where LGBTQ+ creators and talent can showcase their work and tell their stories while fostering representation within the media landscape.

In 2018, Sean realized his vision for a signature event that would bridge the gap between the LGTBQ+ community and those outside the community. SLAY FEST is a celebration of LGBTQ+ arts and culture presented by SLAY TV. It showcased independent films, shorts and documentaries while promoting awareness, fostering dialogue, building community and bringing visibility to emerging queer and trans artists.

" I'm extremely successful at being myself "
