Sean Torrington is a Cultural Director and strategist focused on preserving, contextualizing, and elevating Black creativity across media, film, and digital culture. As Cultural Director of SLAY TV, he leads the platform’s cultural vision ensuring that Black stories are told with depth and intention.

His work centers on connecting modern Black creative expression to its historical and social foundations. Through editorial curation, creator development and cultural programming. Sean positions SLAY TV as both a creative platform and a cultural archive.
Sean aims to create a space where Black creators and talent can showcase their work and tell their stories while fostering representation within the media landscape.
As Cultural Director, Sean Torrington oversees the cultural integrity of all SLAY TV content, from short-form digital media to long-form programming, festivals (SLAY FEST) and partnerships. He determines what stories are told, how they are framed and why they matter, placing contemporary Black creativity in direct conversation with its historical and global roots.
